Gotenks and Super Buu engage in a fierce battle that severely damages The Lookout. Buu slams Gotenks through the structure, and subsequent attacks, including a failed Super Ghost Kamikaze attempt, result in further devastation. Buu transforms into a ball, repeatedly piercing The Lookout until only floating rubble remains. Gotenks manages to trap Buu in a small sphere, allowing him and Piccolo to play volleyball with him before spiking him to Earth. However, a powerful energy blast emerges from the crater, indicating Buu is still active. With Buu ready to continue fighting, Gotenks realizes he has only a few minutes remaining before his fusion separates.
