Ep. 262: Gotenks loses his fusion advantage while Gohan completes training and returns to Earth.

Gotenks and Buu continue their battle, with Gotenks gaining the upper hand. However, he unexpectedly reverts to his normal state because his Super Saiyan 3 form is too powerful to sustain. Buu then overpowers the weakened Gotenks. Meanwhile, Gohan finishes his training and prepares to return to Earth. He bids farewell to Goku, believing it will be their last meeting, and Kibito transports him back. Gohan requests a change of clothes and arrives wearing attire similar to Goku's. He returns just in time to witness Gotenks separating after the failed fusion attempt.
