Ep. 277: Supreme Kai reveals the history of the five Supreme Kais and the true nature of Kid Buu.
Supreme Kai explains to Old Kai that he was once one of five Supreme Kais, with four ruling over universe quadrants and one leader. He identifies the current childlike Kid Buu as the original, most powerful Majin Buu. The Supreme North and West Kai died fighting him, while the Supreme South Kai was absorbed, transforming Buu into a hulking form that later absorbed the leader, Dai Kaio, resulting in the fat Buu. This absorption weakened Kid Buu. On Earth, Kid Buu throws an energy ball to destroy the planet. Goku and Vegeta deflect it, but Kid Buu retaliates with a ball ten times more powerful. Unable to stop it, Goku and Vegeta teleport Dende, Hercule, and Bee away. Supreme Kai then transports everyone to the world of the Kais just before Earth is destroyed.
