Ep. 34: Krillin launches a Spirit Bomb attack while Vegeta recovers from Gohan's direct hit.

During the battle between Gohan and Vegeta, Goku entrusts Krillin with a portion of the Spirit Bomb. King Kai telepathically guides Krillin to throw the energy sphere by feeling rather than seeing. Although Vegeta initially dodges the blast, Goku instructs Gohan to redirect the attack upward. Gohan aims directly at Vegeta, knowing the Spirit Bomb will not harm those with pure hearts, and lands a successful hit. Vegeta survives and unleashes a massive energy explosion against the Z Fighters, but they withstand the damage. As Vegeta prepares to eliminate them individually, he notices Gohan’s regrown tail. He realizes with horror that his artificial moon remains active, posing the threat of Gohan transforming into a Great Ape if he sees its light.
