Ep. 33: Gohan and Krillin attempt to save Goku from Ape Vegeta while Yajirobe severs the tail.

Gohan and Krillin reach the battlefield to rescue Goku, who is being severely beaten by Ape Vegeta. Krillin formulates a strategy to remove the Saiyan Prince's tail. While Krillin readies the Destructo Disk, Gohan attempts to distract Vegeta, but the Prince anticipates their move and thwarts the plan. Yajirobe unexpectedly appears and cuts off Vegeta's tail, forcing him to revert to his normal form. Despite this change, Vegeta remains too powerful for the remaining Z Fighters to defeat.
