Ep. 1: Kazuki discovers a parallel world of giant robots and is pulled into its conflict.

Kazuki perceives a parallel dimension where giant robots destroy the city. Mitsuki introduces him to her father, Ken Sanada, a college professor researching high-tech quantum physics in his basement. Ken theorizes a bridge exists between these worlds and tests Kazuki to understand his unique vision. During the experiment, Mitsuki accidentally activates the quantum portal machine, transporting Kazuki to the alternate reality. He initially fails to recognize his location until robots nearly crush him. When the Hartzenen robot collapses during combat, its injured female pilot falls into Kazuki's arms. Forced to intervene, Kazuki must activate the damaged machine and join the battle himself to survive the ongoing war.
