Ep. 9: Kazuki summons Zinv to defeat Rara Army invaders and rescue brainwashed Miss Ra from HIMC

Kazuki returns to Earth Defense Force territory and struggles to move on from his feelings for Mitsuki Rara. Ayuko learns that Rara’s secret weapon, the robot HIMC, is rejecting her due to her emotions for Kazuki, leading to her brainwashing. The Rara Army launches a direct assault on the EDF headquarters using copies of the Original robot and HIMC, breaching defenses and pushing the defenders to the brink of defeat. Despite Kazuki’s pleas, the brainwashed Miss Ra remains unresponsive. HIMC destroys Hartzenen, prompting a catatonic Kazuki to summon the robot Zinv from its hidden location within the base. Together, Kazuki and Zinv eliminate the invading forces and rescue Miss Ra from HIMC, which subsequently escapes independently.
