Ep. 22: Yaad advises freeing a winged lion while the party faces a griffin attack that separates Senshi.
Yaad explains that Thistle, the Royal Magician, was once Delgal’s father’s jester before studying magic. Laios wants to speak with him, so Yaad suggests freeing a winged lion. After the party leaves, Thistle confronts Yaad angrily. The group returns to the dungeon and is attacked by a griffin, which Senshi fears, causing him to be carried away. Marcille summons familiars to track him, while Chilchuck notices inconsistencies in Senshi’s behavior. The familiars knock the griffin down, allowing Laios to kill it and save Senshi. Since the familiars were created from food supplies, Laios cooks them immediately, which angers Marcille. Senshi refuses to butcher the griffin. Chilchuck shares that he has a family he has not seen in years. Senshi then reveals he was a miner who accidentally discovered the Golden Castle, making his crew the first to enter the dungeon.
