Ep. 21: Shuro and Kabru negotiate with Canaries while the party discovers a cursed immortal village.
Shuro and Kabru observe Canaries visiting the local Lord and propose sealing the dungeon to prevent their ownership. The Canaries assign Kabru leadership but threaten invasion if the plan fails. Inside, Izutsumi senses a spirit, confirming Laios’s hallucinations were real. The ghost requests a meeting, teleporting the party to a Golden Castle where farmers live with tamed monsters. The village’s magic renders Izutsumi docile. Chief Yaad, Delgal’s grandson, reveals a sorcerer cursed them with immortality. Delgal fled to the surface for help but never returned. After Marcille explains his fate, Yaad describes a winged lion imprisoned by the sorcerer, which prophesied the ruler’s death by a warrior with a winged sword who would become king. Laios fears this prophecy applies to him and feels overwhelmed.
