Ep. 7: Laios' party faces lake obstacles, kelpie betrayal, and parasitic worm complications.

Kabru’s group is revived and deceived into thinking Laios’ party killed them. On the fourth floor, Laios’ team attempts to cross a lake using magic, but Senshi refuses because monster blood and oil in his beard block the spell. Senshi summons his pet kelpie, Anne, who attempts to drown him, but Laios helps Senshi kill her. Laios and Chilchuck discover Kabru’s party has died again, this time drowned by mermaids. Chilchuck rejects Laios’ suggestion to eat them. Laios prepares porridge using grain Kabru dropped, Mimic parts, and lake weeds. Chilchuck becomes furious when Laios secretly adds mermaid eggs to the meal. Marcille creates soap from kelpie fat, allowing Senshi to bathe for the first time in years so they can cross the lake. A kraken attacks, but Senshi kills it with a mermaid’s trident. Due to the kraken’s bitterness, they eat the giant parasitic worms infecting it. Laios foolishly eats one raw, becoming infected with a smaller worm and suffering a stomach ache.
