Ep. 2: Kuze receives Mizuki's confession after she listens to his violin recording and visits his home.

Yu and Yuko met at an orphanage twenty years prior. Yu lost his younger sister Akane Himura in a fire and remained troubled by the event. In high school, Yuko confessed that Yu was her first love and that she still loves him. In the present, Mizuki visits Kuze's house to help with laundry. Kuze collapses while she is there, and she ensures he is comfortable while he sleeps. That night, Mizuki returns because she cannot sleep. She tells him how touched she was after listening to a recording of his violin performance that he gave her. Before she leaves, she tells him that she has fallen in love with him.
