Ep. 7: Renji and Chihiro struggle with their relationship while Kei hides Miyako's messages from Hiro.

Renji and Chihiro work on their novel at the school library and nearly finish it. During a beach walk, Chihiro asks Renji to kiss her, but he rejects the idea, stating their relationship is different. She runs away crying, leaving Renji distressed as he hopes she will not record the event in her diary. The narrative then flashes back to Miyako waiting for Hiro for a date. She sends increasingly desperate voice messages to his phone, fearing he is ignoring her. The story returns to the present in Hiro's room, where Kei is present. After Hiro leaves to get food, Kei finds Miyako's messages and deletes them, having vowed to erase Miyako from Hiro's memories before he can see them.
