During the 21st century F-Zero Crystal Cup on Meteor Stream, Zoda disables track shields to unleash meteorites, aiming to eliminate rivals. Miss Killer wins initially, but Black Shadow appears in a Black Bull, destroying a decoy and saving her. Zoda attempts to usurp leadership, only to find Black Shadow alive and mocking him. Meanwhile, Rick Wheeler and Jody discover Miss Killer’s Dark Million ties. The race is cancelled due to severe damage, declaring Lucy the winner of the Elegance Liberty. Zoda returns to base, falsely claiming victory, but Black Shadow reveals his survival, terrifying his subordinate.
