Singer Kate Alen receives threats from racer Zoda, prompting the Galaxy Mobile Platoon to assign bodyguards. EAD, a robot guard, protects her during an attack, but his memory core is stolen. Kate discovers the Platoon uses her as bait against Zoda and flees. Zoda ambushes her again, forcing EAD to sacrifice himself to save her. EAD is rebuilt with no memory of their bond. Kate performs his favorite song for him, finding renewed purpose in her music.
