Rick wins the Mute City Grand Prix, narrowly avoiding a crash by Super Arrow. Later, Rick saves Dream and her boyfriend Truman from thugs, aided by the delusional Super Arrow. Truman invites the Galaxy Mobile Platoon to his mansion for Dream's birthday, but traps them in a basement laser grid. Truman confesses he kidnapped racers on Michael Chain's orders to secure his wealth. The racers escape when Super Arrow's owl cuts the lasers. Michael Chain confronts them outside, but Rick defeats him with help from Super Arrow's owl. Truman loses his fortune but reconciles with Dream. The Catherine Consortium president finds Dream, who chooses to marry Truman. The captured pilots are freed, and Dream and Truman wed, later attending races together.
