Ep. 24: Octoman's Dream
Takoraian visitors arrive at spaceport TCR01, prompting the Galaxy Police to assign John Tanaka, Rick, and Lucy to protect them. Octoman, a celebrated racer from Takora, attempts to hide his criminal ties to Dark Million while managing adoring fans who believe he donated his earnings to their war-torn planet. Rick grows suspicious of Octoman’s fibs but is restrained by Tanaka to avoid a political incident. During the Grand Prix, Octoman initially obeys boss Zoda’s orders to throw the race, but ultimately decides to win for his people. A chaotic pile-up involving multiple racers allows Octoman to sneak to victory. He celebrates with his fans, pays off his debts, and gives the remaining funds to the Takoraians, just as Black Shadow arrives to confront Zoda.
