Lisa Brilliant captures the Reactor Might, a planet-destroying device, from a transport ship. The Galaxy Mobile Platoon, led by Rick, pursues her, while the villainous Zoda offers a bounty for her location. Rick seeks aid from the samurai Goroh on planet Cryton, who agrees to help only if Rick becomes a pirate. Lisa escapes in an escape pod containing the Reactor Might, which Goroh and Rick retrieve. They confront Zoda at a Dark Million station, where Lisa is held hostage. During the standoff, the Reactor Might activates, causing an explosion. Goroh rescues an injured Rick, but Zoda escapes with the device. Rick reports the loss to his superiors before collapsing, while Goroh mocks his dedication to the law.
