Miss Killer experiences a nightmare about Haruka Misaki, but Black Shadow denies her past identity. Zoda challenges Rick to a duel in Don Genie's palace to steal the Dragon Bird's Reactor Might. Black Shadow activates an experiment that causes both racers' machines to overload uncontrollably. The resulting energy explosion destroys the palace, forcing Rick to escape via the Galaxy Runner. Back in Mute City, Rick confronts Miss Killer with Haruka's ring, but she denies being his past love and returns it. Zoda remains suspicious of Black Shadow's motives, while the Platoon prepares for the aftermath of the catastrophic event.
