In the year 2201, Ryu questions his revival until Dr. Stewart reveals Captain Falcon’s message about six Reactor Mights. Rick Wheeler is identified as the savior capable of controlling them, though Jody doubts his temperament. The Platoon possesses the Dragon Bird and Blue Falcon, but the latter was lost to a vortex. Meanwhile, on planet Tank, Zoda digs for a Reactor Might while Black Shadow manipulates events using three stolen units. Miss Killer recalls Zoda’s origin as a bioweapon sent to defeat Rick. The Platoon investigates in the Galaxy Runner, only to find Zoda challenging Rick to a race for the artifact. Their intense battle with Spin Boosters collapses the cave. Rick survives in the Dragon Bird as Zoda escapes, solidifying his resolve to defeat Black Shadow. Berserker observes their departure, awaiting the moment to destroy the supposed savior.
