Ep. 50: Rick trains with Goroh while Black Shadow activates the Dark Matter Reactor on Dark Star
Rick remains missing after Haruka's kidnapping, prompting concern from his Platoon allies except for Tanaka. Rick trains under Samurai Goroh to master his inner strength and ki. Meanwhile, Black Shadow reveals his plan to use the Dark Matter Reactor to halt universal expansion and create a new evil universe. He defeats Zoda in a race, absorbing his Reactor Might. Back at base, the Platoon upgrades Rick's Dragon Bird with a second Reactor Might from Captain Falcon. Rick struggles to control the unstable machine as cosmic anomalies signal the universe shrinking. Black Shadow attacks Dark Star, trapping the Platoon and revealing his identity. Rick and Falcon escape the exploding planet to confront Black Shadow at the reactor's heart, ready for their final challenge.
