Mabase mayor Ninamori faces a scandal regarding his separation, while his daughter focuses on a class play where Naota plays the cat. Naota skips rehearsal due to lack of enthusiasm but discovers cat ears growing from his head after meeting Mamimi. Ninamori flees to a train station to escape media attention, where Naota finds her. Haruko crashes her Vespa into Naota, exposing his N.O. manifestation. Ninamori touches the ears, passes out, and stays at the Nandaba home, admitting she rigged the vote for Naota’s role. The next day, they argue; Ninamori reveals Naota’s ears, and he exposes her vote rigging. This triggers a massive creature from her head, which Haruko and Kanti defeat using curry. The class proceeds with the performance despite the chaos.
