His task is to locate and return a lost possession belonging to a youkai. Upon arriving at the temple, Ashiya encounters a girl named Fujiwara Zenko. The situation suggests that the missing item is connected to Zenko's father, who serves as the head priest of the temple. This assignment interrupts Ashiya's anticipated social integration and introduces a supernatural element to his daily routine.
