The Nautilus is trapped in a minefield within the LeMar Straits while fleeing Gargoyle. Grandis, Sanson, and Hanson volunteer to use the Gratan to destroy three mines. Sanson knocks Grandis unconscious to protect her, leaving him and Hanson to pilot the tank. Jean secretly boards the vehicle to assist them, but the Gratan suffers malfunctions and loses its camera, rendering it blind. Guided by Grandis’s voice from the Nautilus bridge, the trio works together to navigate the hazardous environment. They successfully detonate the remaining mines, allowing the submarine to escape the deadly trap set by their pursuers.
