Duke Crizeman requests that Milfeulle and Ranpha deliver his student identification card to an abandoned educational facility located within Area Enigma, a hazardous zone rumored to be inhabited by pirates. Upon entering the school, the pair is ambushed by hostile robots. During the ensuing conflict, one robot fires a beam directly into Milfeulle’s heart, appearing to cause her death. The narrative poses questions regarding the reality of her demise and the subsequent actions Ranpha must take in response to this tragic event.
