Military officers investigate bandits robbing the Dream Foundation and observe Commander Huey’s tactical skills. Meanwhile, the Angels dispatch Vanilla to space to fix an antenna. She is struck by lightning and appears dead. Enraged, Normad transforms into a giant monster and attacks the remaining Angels, strangling them until they beg for mercy. He halts his assault only when Milfeulle notices Vanilla’s suit has stopped responding to her vital signs. Realizing she is not truly deceased, Normad releases the captives and mocks the Angels for their treatment of Vanilla. This provokes the Angels to attack him in retaliation.
