Albert meets Haydée, who reveals her father was the ruler of Janina who requested aid from Earth during the Earth-Eastern Empire war. Earth reinforcements betrayed him, labeling him a traitor and murdering him. After losing everything, Haydée and her mother, the former queen of Janina, were sold into slavery.
