The Count unexpectedly appears on the same plane and demands money from the fleeing baron. Meanwhile, during the trial of Crown Prosecutor Villefort for poisoning and attempted murder, Benedetto makes a sudden appearance. He proceeds to reveal the truth regarding his actual heritage, exposing his real lineage amidst the legal proceedings.
