Ep. 12: Teru's father dies protecting him while Kyoshiro joins Ohu and Mel defends Gajou

Teru's father is killed by Lecter while shielding his son, prompting Kyoshiro to join the Ohu army after witnessing Weed's mercy. Meanwhile, Mel arrives at Gajou and howls for Akame, drawing both Kurotora's group and a band of brutish dogs. Akame observes the approaching force, realizing the leader is Genba, Hougen's younger brother, rather than Hougen himself. Genba plans to force his subordinates to crush Gin's backbone to prove loyalty. Mel bravely attacks the dogs to protect the location, but is overwhelmed. Kurotora and his nephews arrive to defeat the immediate threat, preparing to face Genba's larger army of two hundred dogs.
