Ep. 9: Ohu Army Rests While John Fights Hougen’s Minions and Dies

The Ohu army rests in the Alps as Rocket introduces Kyoshiro, a heartless one-year-old leader. John orders Hiro and Reika to flee while he stays to fight Hougen’s minions, with Lefty, Tommy, and Rossi joining him. Lefty dies quickly, followed by Tommy and Rossi. Hougen arrives, insults Tommy’s corpse, and orders John beaten. Meanwhile, Hiro and Reika reach Weed, who tends to Hiro’s wounds. Hook witnesses John’s brutal beating but obeys his command not to intervene. Despite severe injuries, John impales himself on a tree spike to attack Hougen. Hougen crushes John’s vertebrae and leaves. John dies quietly after Weed arrives, breaking his promise to Hiro.
