Ep. 8: Ohu Army Crosses Alps While Hougen Pursues Escaped Hostages
Jerome battles the Borzoi trio while Rocket refuses to join Hougen, leading to an ultimatum from Weed to free his father. Moved by their resolve, Rocket joins the Ohu army, leaving his brothers behind. In the Alps, Hook aids John and Gin by providing snow minerals, but Hiro is captured after Reika hides behind him. Hougen takes Reika hostage again, forcing Hiro’s surrender. The Ohu army travels toward the Alps, with Rocket guiding them to allies who oppose Hougen. Ken and Kagetora are sent to Kofu to recruit family members. Meanwhile, Jet and Missile are killed by Hougen’s minions after being spied on. Hook misleads Hougen’s search party, prompting Hougen to order the death of John, Hiro, Reika, and their companions. The Ohu army faces a snowstorm, where Rocket saves Weed and Jerome, earning their full trust.
