Ep. 13: Kurotora's Sacrifice and Tesshin's Decision to Join Weed

The Ohu army travels to the Koga village to recruit Tesshin, who initially refuses due to his ill elder but later joins after encouragement. Simultaneously, Kurotora and his nephews defend Gajou against Genba’s forces. Shouji sacrifices himself by holding off Genba to allow Shigure to escape, while Kurotora is rescued by Akame and Mel. The nephews fight to the death, and Genba discards their bodies in the river. Akame’s group discovers the corpses, prompting Kurotora to vow revenge. Meanwhile, Tesshin departs with ninja-dogs to aid Weed, strengthening the Ohu ranks as the conflict at Gajou concludes with Genba’s victory.
