Hougen’s army, led by Toube, clashes with Shigure and the sons of Kisaragi. Genba attacks Akame but is subdued by Tesshin and Shigure. As reinforcements arrive, a sudden blizzard halts the fighting. Genba is pushed off a cliff by Tesshin and Shigure, suffering severe head trauma and memory loss. Kamakiri observes Genba’s incapacitation with delight, anticipating his rise in rank, while both armies withdraw from the chaotic battlefield.
