Ep. 20: Ohu Suicide Corps: Weed's Failed Assassination Attempt on Hougen

Hougen tortures Gin at Gajou before leading his five-group army to hunt the Ohu forces. Weed devises a plan to ambush Hougen, selecting a small elite squad including Akame, Rocket, and Shigure, while Cross leads the main force to safety. Kyoshiro, excluded from the mission, feigns betrayal to infiltrate Hougen’s ranks, posing as Tasuke from Kyoto. During the attack, Weed executes a Zetsu Tenrou Battouga, seemingly killing Hougen, but the general survives by using a dog as a shield. Kamakiri and Kite discover the living Hougen, realizing the assassination failed. Meanwhile, Kyoshiro successfully deceives Buruge and his troops, maintaining his cover. The Ohu army escapes via the river, and Toube volunteers to investigate Kyoshiro’s alleged treachery, leaving his comrades to await his return.
