Traveling toward Ohu, Weed and his companions save a puppy fleeing a thief. Hook, a Labrador, reveals the puppy is Mel, a slave to Blue, a Beauceron who killed Hook’s brother. Weed and GB confront Blue, who mocks their claims of being Ohu soldiers and denies the existence of Ohu. During the fight, Mel attacks Blue under Weed’s encouragement. Meanwhile, Hook breaks his chains and joins Smith to pursue vengeance. They defeat Blue’s minions as Blue flees, mentioning a link to Nero. Blue is struck by a truck; he saves Weed from a second vehicle, citing Weed’s kindness as his only comfort, then dies. Weed, GB, and Smith continue to Ohu with Mel, while Hook remains behind.
