Schenkopp assumes control of rebel planets for the Yang fleet, while the National Salvation Military Council dispatches Commodore Bagdashu to infiltrate Yang as a traitor. Schenkopp intercepts Bagdashu, preventing the assassination attempt. In the Doria star system, Yang's 13th Fleet confronts the 11th Fleet, which is destroyed after its commanders reject a surrender proposal. Following this decisive victory, Bagdashu chooses to join Yang's side. Concurrently, in Heinessen, a peaceful stadium gathering opposing the coup devolves into a riot when the army intervenes, resulting in thousands of deaths, including that of Jessica Edwards.
