Ep. 1: Reinhard and Kircheis face assassination plots upon their first posting to Kapche-Lanka in July 791 UC.
In July 791 UC, Reinhard von Müsel and Siegfried Kircheis graduate from a military preparatory school and receive their first assignment on the planet Kapche-Lanka. While they are unaware of the danger, Sussanna von Beenemünde secretly plots to kill Reinhard. Motivated by jealousy and hatred toward Reinhard's sister Annerose von Grünewald, Sussanna bribes Reinhard's new superior officer. This superior is the base commandant of an Imperial base located on Kapche-Lanka. The commandant is coerced into carrying out the assassination attempt against Reinhard. This dangerous situation unfolds as the two young officers begin their service, unaware that their lives are targeted by a conspiracy driven by personal vendettas against Reinhard's family.
