Ep. 5: Reinhard and Kircheis investigate a student's death after visiting their alma mater in Odin.

In April 793 UC, Reinhard von Müsel and Siegfried Kircheis visit their alma mater in Odin while awaiting new assignments. They are warmly received by students who hold them in high regard. After spending a day observing the school, they receive their postings in the Imperial Military Police. The following day, while reviewing archives at the headquarters, Reinhard examines a case handled by Ulrich Kesler. He admires Kesler’s unconventional methods for shielding civilians from police oppression but becomes frustrated upon learning these efforts failed. Reinhard launches into a critique of the Galactic Empire’s decline, which is interrupted by orders from the Chief of Military Police. He and Kircheis are subsequently tasked with returning to their alma mater to investigate the apparent murder of Karl von Reifeisen, a student who died the previous night.
