The revelation of Tsu Terakado and Hansamu leader Goemon’s romantic relationship devastates Shinpachi and his fan club. Gintoki also suffers shock upon discovering that his favorite weather reporter, Ms. Ketsuno, is married. While Kagura mocks the despairing men, Otsu arrives at the Odd Jobs office seeking protection. Since the public exposure of her own secret relationship, she has been receiving numerous threatening letters but cannot identify the sender. Determined to help, Shinpachi vows to guard Otsu closely, placing himself in the line of fire to ensure her safety from the unknown harasser.
