Shinpachi and Kagura attempt to restore his original personality by returning him to the Yorozuya office, but their efforts fail to trigger any memory recovery. Seeking other potential catalysts for his recall, the trio explores the streets of Edo, hoping to encounter events that might help Gintoki remember who he truly is.
