Gorou pilots Jet Jaguar against Rodan, which severs the robot's arm before it reboots and defeats the monster. Rodan dies unexpectedly, leading Gorou to link its appearance to an ancient prophecy about the end of all things. Yun suspects Rodan was drawn to the city by strange radio waves from its roar. In the following days, multiple dead Rodans are found in various locations. Pelops II publishes Mei's notes on extra-dimensional lifeforms online, prompting an invitation from Professor Li to discuss her theories. Meanwhile, Gorou, Yun, and Haberu prepare to search for more Rodans using a homemade radio beacon. As they prepare, a giant flock of Rodans emerges from the ocean off the coast of Japan.
