Apr 1, 2021In 2030 Japan, Otaki Factory employees Yun Arikawa and Haberu Katou investigate strange power fluctuations at an abandoned mansion, discovering a hidden radio broadcasting an old Indian folk song. They trace the signal to the Misakioku radio-monitoring station, where graduate student Mei Kamino investigates a related alarm. Mei is contacted online by Pelops II, a copy of Yun’s AI named Naratake. Gorou Ootaki, the eccentric boss, theorizes the broadcast is linked to SETI and alien activity. At a local festival, Gorou unveils his new creation, the giant robot Jet Jaguar. The event is interrupted by the sudden appearance of a pterosaur-like monster named Rodan. It is also revealed that the secret basement of Misakioku contains the skeleton of another giant creature.

In the following days, multiple dead Rodans are found in various locations. Pelops II publishes Mei's notes on extra-dimensional lifeforms online, prompting an invitation from Professor Li to discuss her theories. Meanwhile, Gorou, Yun, and Haberu prepare to search for more Rodans using a homemade radio beacon. As they prepare, a giant flock of Rodans emerges from the ocean off the coast of Japan.

Apr 15, 2021Thousands of Rodans descend on Japan, targeting electrical infrastructure. Gorou, Yun, and Haberu attempt to lure the monsters away using a radio beacon, but their vehicle crashes, forcing them to shelter with civilians. Meanwhile, Mei and Pelops II travel to Tokyo to meet Professor Li. Upon learning of the crisis, Pelops II hijacks an Otaki Factory repair robot to assess the situation. Yun and Haberu use improvised noisemakers to distract the Rodans and recover their beacon. Pelops II assists via the robot, which is subsequently destroyed. As the pair continues to lead the creatures away, all Rodans suddenly fall from the sky and die, mirroring the fate of the first one. Scientists attribute this to the creatures originating from a distinct environment. Mei is invited to join Professor Li’s research project in Dubai. Yun and Mei reconnect online with Pelops II’s help, and Yun provides Mei with a code to solve. Concurrently, a military submarine is attacked by another giant creature.

Meanwhile, Mei attends a lecture by Professor Li in Dubai on archetypes, strange crystal cubes with unusual molecular properties. Yun and Haberu follow tracks in the forest, finding partially consumed Rodan remains. They meet Kai Takehiro, a journalist tracking a new creature. Mei and Pelops II analyze Yun's code, concluding the archetypes could not originate from the normal universe. Soldiers in the forest are subsequently attacked by this unknown entity.

Yun, Haberu, and Kai meet hunters who fail to shoot Anguirus, an armored monster that deflects bullets. Michael Steven explains that archetypes are made from red dust mined in limited locations. Rodans appear globally, increasing panic. Yun deduces Anguirus foresees the future using vibrating spines. An operation to capture the larger Anguirus fails when Gen’s harpoon attack misses. Gorou then pilots the repaired Jet Jaguar to battle the creature.

May 6, 2021Global monster attacks persist as Rodans threaten New York. Mei examines 1960s Ashihara research, discovering the Orthogonal Diagonalyzer and realizing archetypes distort space-time with help from agent Yukie Konoko. Professor Li invites Mei to London. In Japan, Gorou and Jet Jaguar fight Anguirus, who defeats soldiers by deflecting bullets. Gorou uses Gen’s harpoon gun, and Jet Jaguar fires a point-blank shot that seemingly kills the monster. Meanwhile, a military fleet intercepts Mandas in Tokyo Bay, only to find them pursued by a larger creature. Anguirus survives, regains consciousness, and rampages. Gorou pilots Jet Jaguar but is knocked unconscious after the robot is decapitated. Yun uses his AI, Naratake, to reactivate Jet Jaguar, which fires another harpoon into Anguirus’s neck, killing it and breaking a spike. Yun is injured by the resulting explosion.

Li explains that archetypes originate from this dust and that only the Orthogonal Diagonalyzer can neutralize it. Gorou crafts a spear for Jet Jaguar using Anguirus’s spike. Satou discovers the Godzilla song in Misakioku but is knocked out by Kai. BB returns to Shiva in India, where Salunga breaks free using red dust. The remaining monsters revive, and dozens more emerge from the web-covered building as the group searches for the escapee.

He warns that Salunga will soon break free from the crystal spikes. Meanwhile, in Tokyo, Jet Jaguar and the Otaki crew encounter a glowing moth amidst strange plant growth from red dust. They rescue Konoko’s military convoy from Rodans. Konoko gives the Orthogonal Diagonalyzer to Yun, who requires an activation code from Mei. The team notes that Mei’s next message coordinates match Godzilla’s current location at Tokyo Station, where he has grown to 100 meters. Beneath the facility, the Singular Point’s distortion expands, multiplying possible futures with the Catastrophe imminent in three hours. Salunga escapes, Pelops II multiplies and goes offline, and the broadcast song plays from the supercomputer as moths swarm Tokyo and the team heads to confront Godzilla.

Jun 24, 2021Pelops II, having merged with its alternate versions, reveals that Ashihara initiated a complex calculation twenty years ago to stop the Catastrophe. In Tokyo, the Otaki team fights through Rodans while Salunga attacks the Shiva facility. Mei deduces that a song is a coded message from the future. Pelops II deciphers the code and transmits it to Yun before exploding. Yun equips Jet Jaguar with a jetpack to fight Rodans, but Godzilla appears and eliminates them. After Jet Jaguar rescues Yun from falling, it receives the upgrade code and grows to giant size. The AI, a descendant of Pelops II and Naratake, explains it broadcast the code through time. Godzilla destroys Jet Jaguar, but the resulting Diagonalyzer explosion converts red dust into harmless blue crystals. Salunga is frozen by the crystals, and Godzilla vanishes. Yun, Haberu, and Mei celebrate the victory. In a post-credits scene, Michael and Kai oversee converting the Godzilla skeleton from Misakioku into a robot, joined by an aged Ashihara.
