Ep. 4: Fishermen encounter serpent monsters during red tide while Mei studies archetypes in Dubai
Two fishermen are attacked by aquatic serpent-like monsters while searching for clear waters during a red tide outbreak near Japan. Yun theorizes that Misakioku summoned the Rodans via a strange song, but contact reveals the transmission was accidental. Scientists find the Rodans coated in red dust. Yun and Haberu visit a disposal site and question Shunya Satou, who reveals a giant skeleton in Misakioku's basement. They discover a dead Rodan has been taken. Meanwhile, Mei attends a lecture by Professor Li in Dubai on archetypes, strange crystal cubes with unusual molecular properties. Yun and Haberu follow tracks in the forest, finding partially consumed Rodan remains. They meet Kai Takehiro, a journalist tracking a new creature. Mei and Pelops II analyze Yun's code, concluding the archetypes could not originate from the normal universe. Soldiers in the forest are subsequently attacked by this unknown entity.
