Two fishermen are saved from giant sea serpents known as Manda. Professor Li confirms Mei’s suspicions regarding archetypes and reveals his source is Professor Ashihara. Meanwhile, a survey team led by BB visits an Indian cavern containing red dust but is interrupted by Salunga, barely escaping before the cave seals. Yun, Haberu, and Kai meet hunters who fail to shoot Anguirus, an armored monster that deflects bullets. Michael Steven explains that archetypes are made from red dust mined in limited locations. Rodans appear globally, increasing panic. Yun deduces Anguirus foresees the future using vibrating spines. An operation to capture the larger Anguirus fails when Gen’s harpoon attack misses. Gorou then pilots the repaired Jet Jaguar to battle the creature.
