A MI5 operative, who had covertly infiltrated the security detail of Louis Steinbeck III, hires Golgo 13 to assassinate the aristocratic target. Steinbeck III is supposedly of French royal descent and leads MC-130, a secret rogue intelligence organization selling classified information to various countries under British government orders. During the operation, the MI5 operative and bodyguard realizes Golgo 13 did not target Steinbeck III. Instead, the assassin targeted the butler, who was revealed to be the true leader of MC-130 at the time of the hit. This revelation exposes the deception within the security detail and clarifies the actual hierarchy of the intelligence network Golgo 13 was contracted to dismantle.
