Jonathan Earp, a company executive, hires Golgo to assassinate a fellow owner. The plan involves no witnesses or physical evidence, with Earp controlling the plane while Golgo pulls the trigger. However, a disgruntled employee has replaced Earp's lucky bowling ball with a bomb, and Earp carries it everywhere. The assassination proceeds smoothly, but the remaining owner anticipates Earp's actions and fires him. As Golgo departs, the employee celebrates prematurely before the bomb detonates, killing both Earp and the other owner. Having narrowly survived the explosion, Golgo tracks down and murders the employee responsible for the sabotage.
