Golgo 13 accepts a contract from Albert Stantz to kill Wassant, a former anarchist now dedicated to helping orphans. Duke, Golgo 13’s alias, suffers a severe right arm injury and seeks treatment from Dr. Cutter. He discovers Cutter is one of Wassant’s orphans and realizes Stantz breached their agreement by mentioning the assassin. Golgo 13 assassinates Wassant using a modified left-handed M16, then kills Stantz with an unmodified rifle, leaving both weapons at the scenes. Dr. Cutter theorizes Golgo 13 used his left hand to honor the debt owed to Cutter for healing his arm. The narrative concludes with Golgo 13 departing for the airport after completing the double homicide.
