Asian producer Loi hires Golgo 13 to protect actor Lee from assassinations threatening the Hong Kong film industry. An American corporation uses the DIA to eliminate Lee, fearing economic competition. Golgo relocates the pair to a secure Chinese armored facility. When DIA elite troops assault the location, Golgo defends the site, neutralizing most attackers and identifying the mastermind. The conspirators breach the defense and fatally wound Loi. Golgo triggers the halogen gas fire suppression system within the airtight room. He then breaches the window with a grenade, using air pressure differences to expel the remaining invaders. Finally, Golgo eliminates the individual responsible for the assassination plot, completing his mission.
