Jan 5, 2002Haru, Elie, Plue, and Griff travel to Tremolo Mountain for the Rave Stone but find Shuda there. Plue wanders into a forest, prompting Haru to search for him. Haru meets Deerhound, a talking bear, who offers advice before entering the mountain. Meanwhile, Elie steals suits from the Shadow Guard to disguise herself and Haru for entry. Their ruse fails inside the caves, forcing them to flee into a dead end. They leap off a cliff, using Griff’s shape-shifting ability to land safely. Nearby flowers release pollen that induces sleep. Schneider, a doctor who is actually an assassin, ignites the flowers to save them. He then proposes assisting them in locating the Rave Stone.

Jan 19, 2002The Knight of the Blue Sky, Deerhound, doubts Haru is the Rave Master. Haru must fight him to demonstrate his Rave Stone skills. Deerhound reveals his past as a human who fought Shiba to destroy Shadow Stones. He shows Haru the graveyard of Symphonia warriors who died in that battle. Deerhound gives Haru the Rave of Knowledge but is stabbed by Schneider. Haru uses the Rave of Knowledge to defeat Schneider. Deerhound advises Haru to collect all Rave Stones to unlock the sword's powers. Haru vows to bring peace using the Rave Stones. Deerhound then returns to his grave after this final instruction.
16EP 16Shuda Attacks Haru and Reveals His Hidden Underground Power
Jan 26, 2002Following the return of the deerhound to his grave, Shuda confronts Haru, asserting that strength requires eliminating weakness. He launches an assault that obliterates the soldiers' graves and collapses the surrounding cave through his explosive capabilities. After this destruction, Shuda discloses the secrets he had concealed beneath the earth. The narrative then resumes the ongoing conflict between the two characters as they continue their battle, with Shuda now fully exposing his hidden capabilities to Haru.
17EP 17Haru and Shuda clash while Musica defeats Poosya and Rugar in an underground base
Feb 2, 2002Haru and Shuda continue their battle, while Musica fights against Poosya and Rugar alone. Rugar uses his Delta Cannon and Poosya uses his Glue Tear in combination, putting Musica on edge. Elie wakes up to distract Poosya and Rugar, enabling Musica to defeat them both. Haru figures out that Shuda cannot use the Explosive Flame Ballet at close range, since it explodes at the area around the target. However, Shuda uses the Explosive Flame Ballet regardless, causing a massive explosion. Meanwhile, Elie, Musica, Plue, and Griff finds an underground base, where Poosya and Rugar were hiding. Rugar sets the underground base to self-destruct. Later on, as both Haru and Shuda are weakened, Haru defeats Shuda, using all the strength he can muster. As Shuda admits defeat, his launches himself from the floating platform, by using the Explosive Flame Ballet to explode his arm.

Feb 9, 2002Inside the underground base, Musica discovers Rugar blocking the cancellation of the self-destruct sequence. Haru arrives severely injured, and the group locates an old war plane, escaping just before detonation. The aircraft becomes overweight and crashes into a forest, but Hebi rescues them at the last moment. Jegan and Reina are introduced, discussing Shuda's failure to acquire the Rave of Knowledge and the mission to eliminate Haru with Sieg Hart. Meanwhile, Haru, Elie, Musica, Plue, and Griff visit a hotel to rest and then go to a restaurant to eat.

This reunion forces Musica to decide between accompanying Haru and Elie to Lyric Continent or remaining in Blues City with Melodia. Ultimately, he decides to join Haru and Elie on their trip to Lyric Continent.
26EP 26Griff is captured by the Big Butt Bandits who plan to use a smelly device on the train roof.
Apr 6, 2002While traveling to Lyric Continent, Griff is captured by the Big Butt Bandits and tied up. The gang intends to activate a device on the train roof to release a foul odor, allowing them to steal jewels from aristocrats. Haru and Plue head to the roof and encounter the bandits. Plue sits on the device, causing panic. The Rear Admiral, the bandit leader, shares his life story with Haru, while Cheeks and Rumpy fail to deactivate the machine. The bandits leave Haru and Plue, who are drinking apple juice, and jump off the train into the ocean after meeting Elie, Musica, and Griff. Plue accidentally spills apple juice on the device, turning it off. Upon returning inside, Elie, Musica, and Griff complain about the incident.

Apr 13, 2002Haru, Elie, Musica, Plue, and Griff sink into quicksand in the desert and land in a river within Ray Barrier City. There, they meet Solasido and Fura, who identify themselves as the city's protectors. They warn that a monster army intends to breach the barrier for an attack. When the barrier breaks, the protectors prepare for battle. Solasido deduces that Haru seeks the Rave of Combat and advises him to consult Remi Maltese, granddaughter of Claire Maltese, a Knight of the Blue Sky. Remi states the army desires the Rave of Combat and asks Haru to join Solasido and Fura in fighting them, but he refuses. King attacks with Black Zenith, which Gale dodges, then uses Enclaim on the tower, transforming the structure and surrounding land. Haru and Gale plan to cooperate to defeat King and enter the tower. Elsewhere, Elie, Musica, Plue, Griff, Remi, Solasido, and Fura locate the transformed tower but are captured by monsters. King uses a Shadow Stone to summon the Palace Guardians, ordering them to eliminate everyone present. Obstacles separate Haru and Gale, trapping the others, but Elie intuitively guides them to an alternate staircase. Gale punches through a wall to reach Haru, who urges him to proceed to confront King. Haru then faces the Palace Guardians, whose unique abilities challenge him. Meanwhile, Gale battles King, who is enraged by Gale’s betrayal of the Shadow Guard, allowing them to settle their differences through combat.
