Ep. 8: Nice and Murasaki investigate a sleep drug while Theo competes in a triathlon.
Moral adopts Art’s mannerisms to answer Nice’s call. Nice and Murasaki accept a job locating the maker of a drug causing eternal sleep. They meet Theo and Rei at the beach, where Theo argues with a gang and proposes a triathlon to settle it. Nice uses Theo to lure a dealer to the manufacturer, who is revealed to be the client’s brother and has overdosed. Theo demands Nice join the race as compensation. Murasaki converses with the unconscious dealer, noting their shared feeling of being overshadowed. The rival gang hires Honey, Three, Birthday, and Ratio, but they are quickly disqualified. Murasaki joins the rivals to challenge Nice one-on-one while bringing the comatose man to watch. Nice wins, but the dealer wakes to argue with his brother. Meanwhile, Moral and assistant Momoka begin a surgery.
