He visits Shiomi High School, where Hayate and Saki assist him in entering through a torn fence. Inside, Ayumu opens a gate for him. Wataru observes Isumi interacting closely with a baseball pitcher and assumes romantic interest. However, Isumi is actually performing an exorcism for a girl who loved the player. Ayumu shares a story about her school's curse involving a deceased manager. Wataru challenges the pitcher to a game for Isumi's affection but loses, causing him distress. Isumi completes the exorcism and thanks Wataru, resolving his concerns about her behavior.
